New Year, New Career, New Blog!

Greetings fellow bloggers and teachers!

     I previously created a Student Teaching Blog but I am starting a new blog because I have found my forever home at Thomasville Heights Elementary School!  Go Cougars!  I will be teaching Kindergarten in January!  It will be a new year and a great start to my career! I would like to ask everyone for support this Spring!  Please give me any tips or ideas you have about successfully teaching Kindergarten!  I hope you will enjoy my posts about my new experiences as much as I will!
My theme for the Spring is: The Garden of Learning.
I think all students should be life-long learners and that it is up to the teacher to help them begin to develop and grow successful habits.  Here is a wonderful garden poem that can help show the relationship of the garden of my classroom to the seeds of knowledge. 

                           Promote student learning and they will blossom everyday!  Feed their thirst for knowledge and it will never go away! : )
